You can now purchase pre-finished flooring in a wide variety of finishes and colors both in domestic and exotic species.

There are many advantages to choosing a pre-finished floor. The most notable being the elimination of the job site sanding and finishing. This means that the floor is ready to be walked on as soon as the installation is complete and the clean up is minimized considerably. Trout River specializes in Southern Yellow Pine, New Heart Pine and Long Leaf  Yellow Pine. They have available Antique Heart Pine where the wood reclaimed from old barns, buildings or riverbeds. The lumber is then re-sawn and manufactured into flooring. Their products are available in solid and engineered, unfinished and pre-finished.
